Welcome to Skyview! Here you will find all materials needed to learn about and do registration for 6th Grade. Please go through each step below.

Parent Night

Location: Skyview Middle School 

Date: February 25th, 2026 

Time: 6:30 PM -Online Webinar

During the Class of 2033 Registration Information Night Webinar, parents and guardians will: 

• Learn about Skyview’s course registration process
• Learn about the 6th Grade exploratory and music options.   
• Discover how we support student success through academic, social, and emotional resources
• Meet school administrators, counselors, and key staff who will guide your child through this transition
• Have your questions answered to help you and your student feel confident and prepared
• Hear about extracurricular activities, sports, and clubs available to students
• Parents/guardians of current 5th graders who have pre-qualified for HiCap / Advanced Academic Program (AAP) - See below for special Math information session

For Class of 2033 students who currently live in the Skyview MS service area, Skyview counselors will visit elementary classrooms to present this information to students, and to distribute registration and course scheduling materials. 

Monday February 23: Counselors visit Crystal Springs Elementary and Ruby Bridges Elementary

Tuesday, February 24: Canyon Creek Elementary and Fernwood Elementary

Counselors and 5th grade teachers will guide students through the registration process. 

Wednesday, February 25 – Class of 2033 Registration Information Night Online Webinar

Friday, March 6 – 6th grade Course Selection Sheets due to 5th grade teachers

On Wednesday, August 26, incoming students and families will have the opportunity to tour the Skyview campus on our Incoming 6th Grade Family Welcome Night.

Please review this registration form for 6th grade classes. This form will give you an overview of your core and elective class choices. Friday, March 6th: 6th grade course requests forms due to 5th grade teachers. 

Here you will find all materials needed to learn about and register for 7th grade. Please go through each step below.

Tuesday, February 10th: Counselors will visit English classes to go through a PowerPoint explaining registration.

Thursday, March 5th or Friday, March 6th: Registration in StudentVue will be done in classroom with the school counselors.

Please take a few minutes to watch the elective course video. It gives great information about many of your course options.

Here you will find the course catalog for 7th grade classes. Please take some time to read the description of the electives you plan to take or want to learn more about. You can also find information about prerequisites.

Please review the 7th grade registration form.This form will give you an overview of your core and elective class choices and will help you choose which classes to register for on StudentVUE. 

On March 5th and 6th , completed registration forms need to be brought to your English class when students will input course requests into StudentVue.

REMINDER:  Every student should have two (2) semesters of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies plus three (3) semesters of electives.  For electives, this could be one (1) full year class and one (1) semester class or three (3) different semester classes.  All students must select six (6) alternate electives. All students are required to request at least one (1) Art class.
