Dear Class of 2033 Skyview Families,
As your child prepares to transition to middle school, we recognize this is an exciting and important time. To help you and your student(s) feel informed and ready for the course registration process, we invite parents and guardians to join us online for our upcoming Skyview Middle School Registration Information Night Webinar.
Class of 2033 Course Registration Information
- Who Should Attend? ALL parents/guardians of current 5th graders residing in Skyview’s service area
- When? 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 25
- Where? ONLINE WEBINAR – Webinar Link Coming Soon
- What? Overview of the 2026-27 registration process for ALL incoming Skyview 6th graders
For Class of 2033 students who currently live in the Skyview MS service area, Skyview counselors will visit elementary classrooms to present this information to students, and to distribute registration and course scheduling materials in early/mid-February. Counselors and 5th grade teachers will guide students through the registration process.
During the Class of 2033 Registration Information Night Webinar, parents and guardians will:
- Learn about Skyview’s course registration process
- Learn about the 6th Grade exploratory and music options.
- Discover how we support student success through academic, social, and emotional resources
- Meet school administrators, counselors, and key staff who will guide your child through this transition
- Have your questions answered to help you and your student feel confident and prepared
- Hear about extracurricular activities, sports, and clubs available to students
- Parents/guardians of current 5th graders who have pre-qualified for HiCap / Advanced Academic Program (AAP) - See below for special Math information session
On Wednesday, August 26, incoming students and families will have the opportunity to tour the Skyview campus on our Incoming 6th Grade Family Welcome Night.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing how we work together to support your child’s growth and success in middle school. The Registration Information Night Webinar is a great opportunity to learn more about Skyview’s courses and schedule. If you have questions about registration, we encourage you to attend!
We know that students and families have a lot of questions about what to expect for middle school. Please send us your questions in advance so we can do our best to answer them on Registration Information Night! If you are unable to attend Registration Information Night Webinar, the presentation and FAQs will be posted on the SMS website in late February. More information will be posted on the school website after the webinar takes place. We look forward to welcoming your students to Skyview!
