NSD NOTICE JULY 2026:

Beginning with the 2026–27 school year, approved transportation waivers from 2025–26 will remain valid for future school years.

A new application will be required if your student's condition or placement changes, such as:

• Moving to a new residence
• Transitioning to middle or high school
• Changing schools or programs (e.g., EAP, IB, or specialized services)

Students with approved waivers will be assigned to existing bus stops within their school's service area. Bus routes and stop assignments may change each year based on routing needs and student enrollment.

If your student requires a specific bus stop, you may wait until rider capacity is confirmed in November. If space is available, your request will be given priority over newly submitted requests. To choose this option, please email transportation@nsd.org.

Official bus assignments will be available on August 24.
