Hello! My name is Kate Rodgers and I am the school nurse at Skyview Middle School. My background includes 14 years as a pediatric nurse, 13 of those at Seattle Children’s Hospital with a focus on Intensive Care and Kidney Transplants. I now live in the Northshore School District and have loved being a part of this community.

As the School Nurse at Skyview Middle School, my focus is to help minimize the impact of student health issues on learning and to support students managing health issues in the school setting. My goals are threefold: to help keep our students safe and healthy, to manage health problems as they arise, and to be a health resource for Skyview families.

Please keep me informed of any health concerns or changes in your child's health, including new medical or mental health issues, medication changes and immunization updates. Also, be sure that your emergency contact information is up to date and that your contact persons are available.

I am in the health room Monday-Friday, 7:45am-3pm most days. Please stop by, call or email with any questions or concerns.
